RE: EBV

Perhaps the black percipitate which can come with mercury fixatives was not
removed and mistakenly called positive.

		 << File: ANN MARUSKA.vcf >> Hi histonetters!

I had an experience recently in which an IHC stain for EBV
(LMP) was run on a B5 fixed tissue and was interpreted as positive. However
correlating formalin tissue (multiple blocks of identical tissue) has tested
negative.

		Any ideas or similar experiences?

		TIA
