On the other hand, if the mercury percipitate was removed, then perhaps the
b5 fixed the ebv better than formalin.

I had an experience recently in which an IHC stain for EBV
(LMP) was run on a B5 fixed tissue and was interpreted as positive. However
correlating formalin tissue (multiple blocks of identical tissue) has tested
negative.
Any ideas or similar experiences?
