Elizabeth,
Liver acetone powder;
I don't have a reference but I just put some 'liver acetone powder' in the
antibody solution and vortex it. I let it sit for a day and then centrifuge
and decant the supernatent. I think I got this from a small lab manual put
out by the ASCP back in the 1980's.

Hi,
      Does anyone have a protocol or reference for cleaning up polyclonals
with acetone-extracted liver powder?

Also, just for anyones information. a goat-polyclonal anti-Luciferase
(firefly) works well on ethanol fixed paraffin embedded cell
pellets,,,,haven't tried the fromalin yet.The antibody is from Promega.

  Elizabeth
