Go for it!  Be assertive.  Working for the Government has its good points
and its bad.  I'm not the supervisor but I have done a lot of supervisory
things!  I don't think I'd want the headaches.  My supervisor is the
Microbiology supervisor.  It doesn't figure.... Oh well.  I do have the
lab manager on my side as far as pay goes, so we'll see.  Good luck in
