We have many. Most cut frozens, accession, pickup specimens from clinics
label tissue cassettes and generally help out in the gross room. A few
might be more correctly considered HT trainees and work in all areas of the
routine lab except muscle enzyme histochemistry. Most of these have been
with us less than one year and intend to pursue registry as soon as
eligible. Two have been with us for a long time, are solid technicians,
have passed the practical, but are struggling with the so-called "written."
Some people struggle with applying their knowledge in testing situations,
some just can't get past the computer-phobia.

Bert
