Gratiana,
We have found that no methanol is needed, we simply dilute our hydrogen peroxide 1:1 with distilled water. We used to use a 1:1 mixture of methanol to hydrogen peroxide, but found no difference in staining or quenching when we tried the distilled water dilution.

Hi Histonetters, My name is Gratiana & I'm a PhD student @ The Uni. of Melbourne Australia. My question is what % of methanol that normally used to dilute Hydrogen peroxidase for Hydrogen peroxide quenching in immunohistochemistry. Thankyou very much for your suggestion.
Regard
Gratiana
