Tom:

I have the Microm Ergostar and love it! I have just had carpal tunnel
surgery and am confident that the problem will not reoccur mainly to the use
of this microtome. Ask for a demo! It takes no time getting used to
pushing and pulling the handle instead of cranking it. Plus I can do it
with either hand!

I will be budgeting for a microtome and cryostat this time around and was
wondering what folks are buying these days. I went from AO microtomes and
now have Leitz 1512s. I have one Tissue Tek cryostat and am looking for
replacement.

What do you have and why do you like it? I'd appreciate any comments.
Thanks.
