If you are interested in fast drying of slides you might want to try
Instrumedics' CureMount mounting medium for dehydrated, cleared sections.

After coverslipping the slide is placed under a Curing Lamp for 20 seconds.
The slide is ready for filing!

The optical properties of the cured mounting medium makes the stained
section excellent for microscopic study.
