BOUINS/Picric Acid !!

I know that this subject has been discussed before but with the "discussion" RE:
Picric Acid, thought I'de ask what people/labs are using instead, to fix their specimens in, that gives results as good as/better than BOUINS!! Also, how are lab's disposing of their used/waste Bouins. I have a couple of Academics that love the stuff & the results from fixing testis/ovarian tissue in it.  I'de like very much to replace the Bouins with ?????? Thanks in advance, Bruce in OZ!!
