Hi Louise
We routinely prepare a stock solution for Pronase (Boehringer, now Roche)
and freeze it. The concentration of the stock is 10 mg/ml in TBS and it is
stored at -80 C (long term) or -20 C (to be used within 2 months) in
aliquots of 100 or 200 ul. We dilute 1:10 to get the working concentration,
which is then stored at 4 C and is to be used within 7 days. Never faced any
problems with poor performance of the enzyme.
