We treat all of our IHC with a Methanol / H2O2 solution that consists of 150 mL Methanol & 30mL of 30%H2O2. We treat our sections for 30 minutes and then rinse in running tap water for 10 minutes. This is to help block the endogenous peroxidase and therefore have less background.

Shelley K.
