Pravin,
I don't know what Vectashield is, but for my IHC slides, I use glycerin
jelly. This is water soluble, and works well for me.
Gelatin..................10 g
DI Water.................60 mL
Dissolve gelatin with heat
Add:
Glycerin.................70 mL
Phenol...................1 mL
Mix well. To use, heat at 60 degrees C in a beaker of water.
