The ultimate solution for materials that insist on falling of slides is the Fro
Tissuer. Though perceived for holding of frozen sections, the holding membrane
does not discriminate and will hold nails just like frozen sections:
FRO-TISSUER PEN Anchors frozen sections.
The pen prevents frozen sections from falling off or moving during
immunostaining procedures. It also prevents most wrinkling. The pen provides a
sticky membrane on which the sections are placed. The membrane is stable to
110oC and is suitable for vigorous applications such as in-situ hybridisation.
I declare an obvious interest: ProSciTech supplies these pens.
