Hi everyone:

The Breast Center at Baylor College of Medicine would like re-post an
opening for a full time histologic technician/histotechnologist or a
research technician.

This brand new state-of the art facility is involved in a variety of
exciting research projects and includes a clinical component to its
activities. The laboratory is currently staffed with four full-time
technicians. All technicians are involved tissue array assembly,
immunohistochemistry (routine and assay development), fluorescent in situ
hybridization, as well as routine histological techniques. Very soon, laser
capture microdissection and confocal microscopy will be incorporated into
the scope of our activities.

Experience in immunohistochemistry is a plus, but we are willing to train
right person for the job if their backround is in routine histology.

All applicants must have basic laboratory skills, computer skills and an
ability to work well with others. The Breast Center is an equal opportunity
employer offering competitive salaries and benefits in a stimulating
environment. If interested please send resume and the names of at least two
references to:
