Are the parasites oval, encysted and fairly large? If so, could be
Sarcocystis, a common parasite seen in deer, elk, sheep, coyote, many
animals. Sarcocystis sp vary a bit, size and shape of cysts, may be
less oval and more rounded. Some cysts are so large, you can see them
with the naked eye.
