Marcia,
I have used the clone MP5-20F3 to stain murine IL-6 in
frozen tissues. It works pretty well on 2 % formaldehyde fixed tissu
permealized with 0,1 % of saponin. Saponin has to be present during the
staining. I used 2ug/ml overnight. To my knowledge you will not find a
clone to stain paraffins because cytokines are very sensitive and are no
more recognized after parafin processing.
I hope this will help you. Good luck !
PS : Please specify the species of the protein you want
to stain
(murine, human...) we will gain time
Thanks
