Dear Donna,
The only way I know of is to file the skin away. I use a rough nail file. I have an old tube of commercial stain remover called Erada-Stain, I don't know if it is still on the market and I havn't used it on silver nitrate. I believe you can only get rid of the stain by letting the skin wear off or sandpapering it off.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get silver nitrate off your hands?
       thanks,
        donna
