Dear Sharon,
You may want to contact Jean Betsch betschje@chplink.chp.edu or Gloria Limetti g.limetti@juno.com . I took their workshop on celloidin sectioning on temporal bone. They are experts in sectioning that type of tissue.

Dear histonetters,
We are interested in obtaining sections of the inner ear to show our
medical students the histology of the cochlea. Attempts at making
our own have met with a small amount of success. It seems that the
inner ear is quite difficult to do histology on. We are quite happy
to purchase them if somebody out there has some really good
sections. I have tried Carolina Biologica but they do not seem to
have sections of the inner ear.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
