We have had the same problem with the same kind of slides. Generally we let
our slides air dry for 10 min. before starting the actual drying process for
immuno stains. We dry ours in the microwave for 3 min. and 30 sec., after
drying, I check the slides for air bubbles, and if there is one, I puncture
it with a pick and then re-microwave for 20 sec.. I too have wondered why we
get air bubbles on these slides, where we do not have air bubbles on our
regular tissue slides. I hope that I have helped in some way.
