Hi Maureen,
I have had difficult tissues in the past and used Sta-On from Surgipath
#03105, in deionized water using plain slides. I drained sections in
vertical position for 20 minutes and placed on a warming stage at 60
overnight, and they survived the HIER. I also use this for brain sections.
