Subject: OVC/recycling.
How nice to read your note. I spent many good years in Ontario (Ontario
Vet College - Guelph) operating one of the first EM facilities outside
of Toronto. Great years, those early '60's! I recycled OsO4, Ag, etc.
as standard practice in our research labs. Today, I believe it is next
to impossible to justify the setup/time/cost especially for any lab
doing clinical/diagnostic work. Still, I believe we both had a greater
appreciation/knowledge for the science of biology/chemistry - possibly
the environment and certainly economics of those times. Bob Weimer
