We did a cost accounting, takilng into consideration our labor charges and supplies and
this is what we came up with for each slide regardless of how many tissues are on it.

H & E    $4.91
Unstained slide  $1.91
Serial sections on same block as H& E      $2.46
Recuts on already embedded block  $3.10
Immunoperoxidase  $8.32    investigator provides antibody
Special stains $6.02


Every couple of years we raise these rates approximately 10-15% to  cover costs going up
for labor and supplies.
