There is an immediate opening for an ASCP-certified or eligible 
Histologic Technician at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma
Linda, CA.  The hospital is a 900+ bed facility with a large transplant
service and a Children's Hospital.
Loma Linda is located halfway between Los Angeles and Palm Springs.
  The 5-member histology team, including one tech assistant,  processes,
cuts and stains surgical and autopsy specimens averaging 200 blocks per
day.  Each tech, on a rotating basis,  performs  immunohistochemisty on
the Techmate 1000 autostainer.    A new automatic microtome is available 
for use.
