I use Mowiol as a mounting medium for fluorescently stained tissue. 
There are a couple of stained sections that would be interesting to 
look at with EM. Does anyone know whether a solvent for Mowiol exists
or any other tricks for removing a coverslip from a permanently
mounted slide.
