I agree we should not be too hard on John Kiernan, it is sometimes very easy to
misrepresent what we want to say when writing emails so we sound either too
hard or too flippant. Just take it as amunition if you need it to show that you
would like training in certain areas. That is a valid request for all of us as
I said in my last email!

Also I have valued reading much of John Kiernan's wisdom and I hope he will not
feel inhibited by the press he has received.
