Dear Histonetters..here I am again with another "softening" question!! I have another student who wants to do serial sections thru fleas'n'flies to look @ the ovaries.(& obtain some wonderful X-sections of said beasts!!) The procedure she has,says "after fixing,transfer directly to SUPERCEDROL for a min.of 24 hrs.changing X3!! Does anyone know what this product /solution is, if it is a "softening agent"( for the exoskeleton) & where I can obtain it OR any method that has worked for you...Cheers,Bruce in OZ.
