An abstract from the 44th Annual Scientific Meeting (No 155) as cited
in Acta Cytol Vol 40, Number 5, p1107 might be of help.
It uses PVA Sponge (Unipoint Industries' Ivalon) in 0.5cm cubes to
absorb cells from centrifuged serous fluids fixed in 95% ethanol.
The authors were Cheryl Schmidt, Kamal Khurana and Celeste Powers
from the Department of Pathology, State University of New York Health
