In response to your e-mail discussing spotty dry areas on your slides, please
be advised that it appears your slides are drying out prior to being
coverslipped.
This is avoided by keeping the slides submerged in clearing agent prior to
coverslipping. The H/I RCM (Robot CoverSlipper), all models, employs this
technology. Slide carriers/baskets are kept in a holding trough filled with
clearing agent until the coverslip is applied.
