RE: [Histonet] H&E after IHC

Hematoxylin is an acceptable counterstain for immunoperoxidase techniques
(though I personally prefer methyl green).  I would avoid eosin however.
The brown color that develops in such techniques has a definite reddish
cast, and using a background stain in the red range could interfere with
interpretation of results, especially in weakly stained areas.
