Hi,

I'm in the process of writing a series of macros for Scion Image that can be
used for this purpose. they are still a little rough around the edges, and I
have to write up some documentation for them.

They can be had at
https://sourceforge.net/projects/imageapps/

Just load them as macros into Scion image, you can load multiple image and
process them all with the same threshold.
Thresholding is still manual (as in you pick a number between 0 and 255).
