An interesting twist on antigen retrieval. 

For those interested, this is an elegant publication on antigen retrieval
of prefixed (paraformaldehyde) tissue, with retrieval performed en bloc,
i.e., whole piece of tissue, followed by snap freezing/cryosectioning.
