RE: Cassette/Slide Markers

From:"LaFriniere, Mike"

Theresa,

There was a recall on some of the lot #'s with secureline, you may want to
check to see if you have the lot numbers that were recalled with your
representative...the new recent lot #'s I have do not demonstrate any
further problems in our lab.

Subject: Cassette/Slide Markers

I have been having a very hard time using the Secureline Markers from
Allegiance. They were so dependable for years, never smeared and didn't come

off the cassettes after processing. Now, we are having a big problem. The
numbers are so light after processing that it has become a whole new job
rewriting the cassettes. I ordered markers from Richard Allen but they seem
the same, they just have their name on the side. I spoke to the Fisher Rep
and all he came up with was Secureline again.

Do any of you use a different type marker? Are any of you experiencing what

I am with the Secureline markers?

I would appreciate any comments.
Thanks so much,
