I'm trying to optimize this pab for use in IHC. It's rabbit anti-MetAP-2 (methionine amiopeptidase-2) Zymed 71-7200. I can't find much in the way of publications on using this for IHC - so I'm winging it. I'm getting too much nonspecific staining. I'm trying to use a human lymphoma and mouse spleen as negative controls, with mouse liver as a negative. The only paper I could find (Kanno:Lab Invest, Volume 82(7) July 2002.893-901) suggested these tissues. I won't bore you with the gruesome details of my lack of success thus far, but if anyone out there has had any experience using this antibody or any other MetAP-2 antibody for IHC, please please help.
