Hi Everyone,
We have noticed a problem on blocks we receive for consultation that have been processed and prepared by one particular histology lab. The melanocytes look abnormal - as if the cytoplasm has expanded causing distortion to the cell structure. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? It doesn't appear to affect the other cell types so dramatically but definitely makes the melanocytes appear atypical.
Any ideas you have would be greatly appreciated.
