RE: CD56

From:"Galbraith, Joe"

Ronnie:

We use Coulter cytostat CD56 (NKH-1) for flow cytometry detection of NK
cells (in conjunction with CD16). We use CD57 (locally produced in a
research lab) for NK cells in IHC. To detect plasma cells, we use CD138
from IOTEST for flow cytometry and PCA (plasma cell antigen) from Dako for
IHC. Please email me directly if you want protocols.

Good luck,

Which clone/vendor are people using for CD 56 detection in plasma cells
in
multiple myeloma?

Thanks
