If anyone can send me a copy of their formalin spill guidelines, I would
appreciate it.  I am in the process of purchasing spill kits and can use
the package insert for an SOP, but for now I need a specific procedure
until I get the kits in.
In the past I have simply "generously dusted" the spill with Alde-x or some
other neutralizer and allowed it to congeal, then scooped it up & disposed
of it.  There is also a liquid neutralizer that involves absorbent towels,
but that's a bigger mess.
If I can get someone's SOP, I can even make an inservice out of it for my crew.
