I have used a Surgipath manual microtome for over 2
years. Before we bought it, I called 7 references and
found out that everyone else who used them were very
happy with the instrument.

At first I was skeptical because I had never seen one
advertised and never heard others refer to them.

After we purchased it, I was pleasantly surprised at
how well it was built; it was low maintenance because
it has a little pump in it to circulate the oil to
moving parts; it cut dense tissue easily; and it was
very simple to use.

I am not familiar with the other models but I think it
would compete very well with the other manual
microtomes made by other companies.
