Hi,

Scott's Tap Water Substitute is made by dissolving 3.6gm sodium bicarbonate
and 20gm magnesium sulphate in 1,000ml water. Can at thymol to prevent
mould. Should take around 30seconds to blue nuclei. I am assuming you have
checked the pH of your water. It may be alkaline enough to blue nuclei.
