Sharon,
I don't think the problem is the stainer.  It may be something in the
solutions.

Hi,
We have a Hacker Linear Stainer and are having problems with our
H&E staining.  The eosin appears to be staining much lighter.  We
have been using this stainer for some time. Any suggestions or
solutions would be most appreciated.
