Re: HT Practical Test

From:Lee & Peggy Wenk

First, I gently suggest that you go back and re-read the directions that came with the list of practical tissues.

The directions state what information needs to be written on the slides. (I'm not going to list what this information is, as the ability of the candidate to follow directions is being "tested" on this portion of the practical exam.)

That being said, the directions do say the "information" must be permanently "written" on the slide. Though the directions do not state it, this means the "writing" can be directly on a slide, or on a label affixed to the slide. Handwriting, a typewritten label, a computer written label, or a slide labeler directly on the slide are all acceptable.

Just make certain that the information is readable, permanent, neat and correct.

Subject: HT Practical Test

Hi Histonetters,
Please I want you to tell me whether to write my name on the practical examination slides with pen OR  just to type it.  Which one is preferrable?

     Histologically Yours,
Adesuyi Banjo.
