Hepatitis C and skeletal muscle
Hello histonetters,
Anyone out there with experience in detection of hepatitis C (or complexes
deposited as a consequence of) in skeletal muscle? So far a literature
search has turned up 1 article referencing testing for MHC-1, membrane
attack complex (MAC), and C5b9 in skeletal muscle biopsy. PCR for the Hep
C RNA was also mentioned.
These would be snap-frozen sections of human skeletal muscle for IHC. Any
ideas are appreciated.
Thanks!
