RE: primary cell cultures

From:"Montague, Donna C"

A couple of great references for bone cell culture are:
General: Culture of Animal Cells - A Manual of Basic Technique (4th ed) by
Ian Freshney
Specific: Methods in Bone Biology by Tim Arnett and Brian Henderson (eds)

I can send you our protocols for cultures from bone marrow or explants for
osteoblastogenesis and osteoclastogenesis either by email or snail mail. I
presented a workshop at NSH last year on this subject and the staining
techniques associated with them. Be glad to help in any way we can. Let me
know your address for snail mail.

Hi,
Could anyone share a procedure to start up a primary cell culture line of
osteosarcoma cells from fresh tissue. I'm new to this and am having some
trouble finding a good procedure.
Thanks in advance.
Nancy
