We have a Leica EG 1140 H and C for our embedding center.  After not very 
many months of use, the paraffin dispenser developed a chronic leak which has 
not been prevented by removing and cleaning the appropriate parts.  I have 
heard some rumors that other users have had a similar problem.  Has anyone 
else encountered this problem?  Have you been able to get the vendor to 
retrofit/replace the dispenser arm?  I understand the EG 1160 was built in a 
fashion which improves this problem, but this is just second hand information 
from an independent service company.  Unfortunately, we are beyond the one 
year warranty by about seven months.
