Cm-DiI
Would anyone know if there are
any adverse affects of routine tissue processing on tissue
(specifically mouse heart) containing CM-DiI (from Molecular Probes)?
I had thought that there may have been a
problem with the ethanols, but had been told that this was not the
case.
The mouse heart had been fixed with
4% paraformaldehyde
for 3-4 hours, kept in 30% sucrose solution
for ~2 days
then processed:
70% ETOH-1hr.
80% ETOH-1hr.
90% ETOH-1.5hr.
100%ETOH-1.5hr (X3)
Citrasolv-2.5hr.
paraffin-4hr.
I have since cut and seen no DiI.
