Hi,
    It's difficult to remove DAB (even intentionally), so don't worry about
loosing the chromogen. The easiest way to remove the eosin is with what ever
you are using as a bluing reagent. Run the slides back to water (much of the
eosin will be removed here) then leave the slides in the bluing (ammonia
water usually) for about 5 minuets. Then run the slides back to xylene.
