Hazel,
I use a Leica autostainer XL.  It has the capacity to run 15 different
programs.  There are 18 reagent stations, an oven and 5 wash stations that
connect to either tap or DI water. The reagent containers hold 500 mL
solution (I have found that 400 mLs is enough to cover the slides) & racks
hold 30 slides.  I use it primarily for H&E and to deparaffinize/hydrate
slides for specials stains-- which I prefer to do by hand due to low
volume.  If I had a high volume of one or more special stains, I would -- &
could easily -- set this up for whatever staining I wanted.  I also program
it to run water for 20 minutes to rinse detergent for a cleaning cycle.  I
really like this stainer... it's easy to use, program and clean and I've
never had any problem with it... it's about 5-6 years old.
