RE: Top Atomic Pathologists

Cathy Gorrie says (inter alia):

"How you would determine if they were good or not is another matter.
Remember it is usually the Histo technician who is highly skilled in
the use and applications of immunohistochemistry. A well prepared
immuno stained slide isn't too hard for a Anatomic Pathologist to
decipher."

Absolutely (to everything).

In this country, you are a "Leading Consultant in whatever", when you hit the headlines of the gutter press after some cock-up.

In all countries, you become a top man by publishing. This does not guarantee (or even suggest) that you are actually any good at anything but publishing.
