I do A LOT of brains here and a lot of LFB stains. I put my sections on 
Snowcoat X-tra slides that I get from Surgipath and have never had a 
section float off (imagine the sound of my knocking on wood here). I put DI 
water in the water bath and dry the slides in an oven at 58 degrees.
I do the overnite version of the LFB and finish it off with PAS. Reference 
is Preece, 3rd edition.
