We receive breast biopsies that have been xrayed using a dubin device--or 
plastic holder with a grid. Occasionally we are asked to recut a block that 
was supposed to have decalcification but did not show it. The xray department 
can xray the blocks to see if the calcifications are still there. Our 
hospital does this with a mammography machine. If you are interested I can 
try to find out the settings they use. Although this is not cost effective 
for all biopsies, it should help on some.                       Angie Schmidt
