Sherry,
We've used both normally frosted slides and the ones from Erie with the
black backing.  Both work, but for sure the ones with black backing work
better.  You can read the slides that are regular frosted but they are a
little difficult.  The ones with black backing are much easier to read.
They may be out there but don't know of anyone other than Erie selling the
black-backed slides.

Does any one use the Shurmark slide etching system ??  If so, then I need
to
know if you use the slides from Erie that have the backing on them or do
you
use other types of slides.  If you use other types of slides, how are those
working ??  Also, does anyone know if I could purchase the slides with the
coated backing from anyone other than Erie ??
